We will be joined by Erica Robinson & Ken Hubbard from Tamron for this workshop, as part of The Tamron Tours Workshop Series!

Join us for 4 days of photographing Winter Landscapes and Wildlife in and around Grand Teton National Park on January 2-6, 2025.

We will photograph many iconic landscapes of the Tetons in the peak of winter. The wildlife should be abundant this time of year. In years past we have had moose right outside our cabins at the ranch!  We've also had the opportunity to photograph coyotes, foxes, elk, bison, deer, etc. The landscape totally covered in snow is a sight to behold.

We will discuss all things photography including composition, post-processing, and exposure for winter conditions.

Lodging during January 2-6, three meals per day, and ground transportation during the workshop are included in the workshop price!  The meals served by the ranch are always incredible!  You will not leave hungry or disappointed!

The workshop will be limited to 10 participants.  This will allow us to focus on each participant more. It will also allow us to do excursions we would never be able to do with larger groups.

Your instructors for this workshop will be David Akoubian & Cecil Holmes.

Ken Hubbard is the Field Services Manager for Tamron. He is responsible for the company’s events, including Tamron’s popular consumer workshop series. Ken has had nationwide gallery showings of his portrait and landscape photography and teaches enthusiasts how to take better photos at numerous events. Ken’s extensive background in the field of photography is unique and diverse. He has traveled extensively throughout the US and the result is a consistent output of breathtaking photographs that continually challenge the boundaries of the genre.

Erica Robinson (Technical Representative) has 13 years of photography experience and a degree in the Arts. Erica has worked as a wedding photographer in Boston, a cruise-line photographer, and provided technical knowledge through a local camera store. Becoming a proficient world traveler, she focuses on travel photography and storytelling, providing education through workshops and inspiring others to accomplish their photography goals.

The workshop fee is $3795.00 and does include lodging, meals, and ground transportation during the workshop.  The workshop fee does not include air transportation.  As with all of our workshops, we highly recommend travel insurance.  It is winter, and with that comes the possibility of air travel issues, this is only one reason we recommend travel insurance.

We will be offering 1 airport pick-up on the first day of the workshop and 1 airport drop-off on the last day of the workshop. We will communicate with you via email and/or Zoom about these times. If you arrive before/depart before or after our pick-up/drop-off times, the ranch offers an airport shuttle service.

Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email that can serve as your receipt.  As we get closer to the workshop date we will send out other emails that will include topics such as "what to bring" or "how to prepare".

Non-Participating Spouses/Partners: Spouses or partners that are not participating in photography outings are welcome to accompany you as long as room space is available. Those would be charged at a rate to only include lodging and would need to be booked via this registration page using the “non-participating spouse” option from the dropdown menu.
